Vintage Square delivers an energy efficient Transit Oriented Development project that repaints the image and landscape of the Railroad Avenue corridor.

Utilizing “Green” construction techniques and materials, the project creates nearly 1,000 parking spaces that provide ample parking for the needs of the NY State Supreme courts and the surrounding business community. Vintage Square also offers unique and elegant retail space along with office space and a residential component providing “next generation housing.”  What’s more, working within the plan for downtown’s ongoing renaissance, Vintage Square transforms Railroad Avenue into an intermodal transportation hub and destination attraction.

Brick-faced facades, complimenting the brickwork of neighboring buildings such as Suffolk County National Bank’s Corporate Headquarters, Suffolk County Historical Museum, the Riverhead Free Library and the fully restored Long Island Railroad train station, along with nineteenth century nuances, express a masterful blend of Mystic Seaport, Beacon Hill and Newport RI styles. Architectural designs reflect the Supreme Court building adjacent to Vintage Square.

Vintage Square Plaza has strong eye-appeal and gives visitors open common space.  Tastefully decorated with benches, exquisite landscaping and turn of the century fixtures, the area lends itself well to outdoor exhibits and music presentations. The plaza, with its quaint inlaid paving bricks and fashionable English garden plantings bordering a tasteful water feature and outdoor sculpture, creates a pedestrian passageway from the railroad station to the court complex and to downtown Riverhead where the town’s other features lie within a 10 minute walk.

However, the most outstanding asset to the community of Vintage Square is the state-of-the-art 10 screen cinema complex situated atop the parking facility.
